Originally from New Ireland province in Papua New Guinea but living primarily in Port Moresby, Alvin Amana wanted to return to the village after trying a few things out after high school. He instead arrived in New Zealand in 2014 after a big push from his mum and is now carving out a path for himself as a landscape architect in Wellington.
Join us as he shares what his journey to NZ looked like and how he's now navigating life as a working professional. Stay tuned to the end where he also shares some of his favourite things in our Fast Five section.
